Privacy policy
Short version: we keep as little as we can.
Email sign-up
If you sign up, we store two things: your email address and the date and time you signed up (in UTC). We use them only to send you new TechCortado posts.
We don't sell, rent or share your email. It is kept in a private file on our web host, not in a public folder.
Spam protection
To stop abuse, the sign-up form briefly keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit repeated attempts. It cannot be turned back into your IP and is deleted automatically within a day.
No tracking
This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no third-party scripts or fonts. Pages load only from techcortado.com.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We don't use them to track you.
Your choices
To unsubscribe, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send. To see or delete what we hold about you, reply to any of our emails and we'll handle it promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
